031“Meeting Sibu Very Own Simon Yam”

I was actually supposed to go back on the 9th of February as I was thinking that I might need a day rest before work on Monday but on second thoughts, I decided to stay for another day in Sibu to meet the most talk about personality in the blogosphere, Sibu very own Simon yam, Suituapui! and yes, I finally met this guy.
We decided to meet up at Ruby’s for lunch on Sunday. I must say, meeting STP in real life and in the blogosphere is so VERY much different but nonetheless, I am glad to have finally met him. I got star strucked liaw!
Ruby Restaurant : Table for three
The First Dish : Fried Mee Suah
The Second Dish : Cangkok Manis (Locals call it that way)
The Third Dish : Mayonnaise Lamb
Suituapui : It could be better with lemon.
I couldn’t agree more.
The Fourth Dish : Butter Scotch Prawn
The Fifth Dish : I forgot but I think got yam in it (Not Simon Yam la)
What a lunch. A bit extravagant for my not so big tummy but the food was fantastic.
Eh, I got ang pow!! - I am actually still feeling awkward that I am still receiving ang pow at this age. So, tua ledi still got ang pow but whatever it is, thank you STP!

Extravagant? No lah! That place VERY cheap, kopi tiam prices…and food nice!!! I go there very regularly! Got lots of other nice dishes! U come Sibu again, I’ll bring you there again!
That was claypot fish lah…except can’t see fish, lots of yam! And u didn’t say anything about the blended kopi-o (the Guiness Stout look-alike), better than Starbucks and CoffeeBean!!!
And u also not like on your blog mah! I told Clare u so shy, so quiet, so softspoken…and Clare ROTFLOL!! She said I’ve been conned and u were pretending, OR u scared I’d sit on u!!! U find me intimidating kah? No lah…I’m so sweet, so gentle…like teddy bear kan???
And gosh! My hands look SO kasar compared to ur delicate, small, gentle, aristocratic ones!!! Kesian saya!!!
Well…hope it was worth ur staying back and the midnite bus ride back to Bintulu. Was my pleasure getting to meet THE Bintulu Idol too!!!

I was just kidding la but then thank you lor. Nice to meet you there also. From what I see in the blogosphere I put in my head that you’re actually somebody who laughs a lot, have a very big voice, crazy fella kinda stuffs but meeting you in a person I found that you’re such a gentleman.

Lamb with mayo is ok, provide that it is tender enough la. If you’re the type that doesn’t really like the smell of the lamb, the mayo took away all that actually. This dish is not bad I tell you. I like it.
if all of us singles ask for angpow like cibol did.. will we get angpows too??? hahahah I think lots of singles here, right??

That’s why I said I’m very glad to meet him and some more reaching Sibu at 10:30 and then still got time to have lunch with us.
