Yes, it’s nothing less than ordinary - equally, no

106“Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant”

Getting pretty much excited. Another 5 more days will be attending the Rainforest World Music Festival.

P/s : NH, King of Emo pun Emo la.

When Lily told me about her new favourite hang out spot, I was a little skeptical. In my mind was like, “Yeah, there was a big hoo-haa about The Spring”, but for me it is just a normal Sarawak very own concept of shopping complex and nothing more than that. Not that I doubt it but I was not over excited about it.

The moment I step into the place, walaaaa …

This is like heaven. God, this is crazily awesome! No wonder Lily like this place so much and I find myself falling in love with the place. What I find unique about the place is that the whole restaurant is made of solid wood and apart from that a lot of magnificent carvings all over the place. The restaurant itself is a marvellous work of art I must say.

Front view of the restaurant

The entrance of the building isvery nicely done.

take a look at these nice carvings on the wall

More work of art

The interior was not bad too. It’s a blend of east meets west. Very Carribean type and also very Asian at the same time. I just love it.

Lovely indeed

The first floor was equally stunning as the main hall. It’s like a big mansion

More view of the first floor

Enjoying the art

Enjoying the nice view

After your meal, you might want to take a stroll along the seafront or along the wooden walkway overlooking picturesque Marina Bay.

The thing that I find unique is the street lights, well .. not really street lights as in the high up above type of street lights but these little cuties.

……..
……..
……..

And of course, Miri very own mascot - The seawhores horse.

Whether you are coming for lunch, dinner or other special occasions, you are sure to be captivated by the charm and beauty of Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant.

Ermm, what do you wanna know bout this place?…It is nice..i meant in term the design and surroundings all..but but pricey. It range from RM150-RM7000+++..And early reservation recommended to give them time pre-prepare the fresh seafood. If not, waiting time up to 2 hours :) Review from this blog is good http://www.sixthseal.com/2008/06/marina-bay-seafood-restaurant.html

cibol replied on August 16, 2008 at 7:50 am:

For those who planning a big function, its indoor two-storey level restaurant with a long bar and lobby lounge settee can accommodate up to 600 guests.

Couples who intend to tie the knot will find this the best place to hold this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

The restaurant offers its special garden wedding package, the wedding reception in an open field with swaying coconut trees facing Marina Bay. After the wedding ceremony, guests can proceed to the restaurant which offers special wedding dinner packages from only RM450++ per table.

Apart from dining, the restaurant provides function rooms from 10 to 100 pax with seminar and meeting facilities such as audio visual aids inclusive of two coffee breaks and a luncheon. There is also a business centre with secretarial services.
